Our medical assistants have gone out to visit local residents over the past few months to provide them with complimentary screenings for Diabetes and Balance testing. Our medical assistants make sure to provide a great deal of wellness education and helpful information to residents and staff at every screening.
Interest in medical house calls and hospital-at-home programs surged during the COVID19 pandemic of the past year. Unsurprisingly, hospitals, which needed to make room for, and protect vulnerable patients, sent many of their patients home with EKGs, IVs, patient monitors, and other medical devices. While the explosion in demand arose from great need, it offered us a glimpse of the future. And, now major hospital systems, healthcare providers, and others are convinced that medical care will increasingly move away from the hospital room and into your living room.
This month marks the 6th anniversary since we set out on our mission to become an industry leader and model of excellence for the delivery of in-home medical care. It continues to be an extraordinary journey, and we thank all of you for being part of it.
